I would expect to see that as they had sale on, 17.99 for ED.
Its really coming on, just Uni coarse I am doing prevents me from investing any time into it.

Back at my starting point system (Altair).
Current ship: Vulture (no carge space, equiped for combat)
Ship in storage: Cobra MK? (sold my Eagle and Viper on arrival)
Been doing some exploration, going to +/- 350 LY from Altair. Intention was to go to the center of the galaxy but at some point i did not have enough jump distance to cross the space between two spiral arms.
Once out of the player bubble there isn't much to do beside exploration. All systems are joined in system groups, none of them has any stations (some have planets to land on but without any station on the sirface) so besides flying around there is not much to do.
I found only a few planets which where not discovered but the reward for that (credit wise) is not worth the effort and you can only collect credits for exploration inside the bubble so to collect some credits you always have to go back. So i headed back to Altair.

Then on return, i passed some anarchy systems with a comprimised Nav Beacon. If well equiped there's quick money in combat, killing wanted ships (if you're flying single, only go for for single ships, not wings). But even after a while this becomes boring.

Trading is still a joke since none of the trade data can be trusted.
Example: buy goods below the galactic average at system A which gives me info it exports these goods to system B where you can only sell it with a loss. Like buying foods from an agricultural world which sells it to an industrial world but for half the price you need to pick it up at the agricultural world. It simply doesn't make economical sense.
This doesn't mean you can't make money in trading but the ingame trade data can't be trusted. You need a 3th party trade tool.

Been playing some missions too, some are worth the effort, some are not, some just don't contain enough data to complete (at least in my point of view) or some are just not working.

Horizons part: Have been landing on some planets but it's a bit like space but then on the surface.

What's next: don't know, maybe some Powerplay but then i have to start reading on how it works because if i look into it know, it's still a big mystery.

Been beaten up today by a dude called A1ien.
Went from Barnard's Star to Altair and from there to the Solo Orbiter when i was pulled out of supercruise by A1ien (no chance to even try to avoid it). He started shooting on me the moment he had a chance, no scan, no nothing. There was nothing to gain either, didn't carry any payload (don't even have the space for it), nor do i have a bounty on my head so there was no reward what's so ever in destroying me.
Secondly, he used some nasty tactic to destroy my hull. He did a frontal attack releasing all weapons he had at once + he bumped into me (twice). With his Federal Gunship these bumps caused more damage then his weapons did. So i lost the battle, lost my ship, reward for him... zero!
Payed insurance, went back in only to ran into the same guy again. He pulled the same tactic out of his sleeve but i could escape. Immediatly he pulled me out of supercruise again and finished me off once more but this time i knew what was coming so i could damage him quite a bit but with my 2 beam lasers i didn't stand any chance. Again, no reward for him since again i didn't carry any goods nor did i had a bounty on my head.
Payed insurance a second time (in total lost over 1.100.100 credits in a few minutes). I'll keep an eye out for this A1ien dude.

There are some people out there in the void that are just dicks and just want to shoot any thing. Thankfully my Asp with its two med beam lasers and 4 pulse lasers make quick work out of people like that.
I also have hull reinforcements. I just use my asp for everything now. Combat and trading and doing mission runs. Some of the missions in Horizon pay out some good money. Those mission that fail if you get scanned are fun. I made 2 million in a hour doing those.

Took out the Cobra for a spin but went quickly inside again. Sold all my ships (basic SideWinder, fully equiped Eagle, fully equiped Cobra) except the Vulture.
Have almost 30.000.000 in credits atm.
Looking for a job to do next...

Reached a bit of a goal.... just over a billion credits.

i.imgur.com/f0tZydy.png

Been playing on and off (more off then on actually), trading goods (with 3th party aid because the ingame trading data still sucks), did some exploring (boring with an advanced scanner), did some bounty hunting (got blown up quite a few times), went for a bigger trade ship (and bought me an Anaconda only to find out it was a sluggish ship, powerfull but so slow), in the end went into the hauling people business (even more boring then exploring) and made a billion credits.

Now what...?

I haven't played ED in over a year now maybe longer, maybe join the war against the Tarhgoids?

Haven't encountered a Thargoid yet.
Have to look where they are to be found... need to read a bit on the forums.
